Aaron Rodgers was X-rayed after injuring his ankle in his New York Jets debut.

Aaron Rodgers' debut with the New York Jets has already ended, with the quarterback being taken off the field by trainers on his first drive.

Leonard Floyd sacked the experienced quarterback, who fell to the ground and went immediately to the medical tent.

Rodgers played all but three minutes of the game at MetLife Stadium before tossing his helmet to the side in exasperation.

The Jets supporters contributed to the wonderful mood for Rodgers by roaring as he ran out beneath a slew of brilliant lights.

And his first play resulted in a 26-yard gain as he passed to Breece Hall, who was also a popular figure before start.

Following a flag, Rodgers was given a new set of downs, but Floyd rushed him and brought him down hard.

His ankle is being examined, and he was eventually taken off the field.

The Jets took no chances and had Rodgers sent for an X-ray because he didn't want to put weight on his standing leg, according to NFL Network.
