Eagles urged to sign ex-Vikings pro bowler for $67 million.

The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 but have several defensive injuries.

Bleacher Report recommends the Eagles sign four-time Pro Bowl linebacker Anthony Barr as one of the NFL's top moves.

Barr, best known for his eight seasons with the Vikings, inked a five-year, $67.5 million contract in 2019.

A 2021 reworked pact with Minnesota reduced Barr's salary to $8.6 million.

“The Eagles only have three off-ball linebackers because Haason Reddick and Nolan Smith line up as edges.

Bleacher Report said on September 11, 2023, that they could use some depth.

Anthony Barr would offer Philadelphia insurance and linebacker experience.

He may not be a four-time Pro Bowler anymore, but the nine-year veteran had 58 tackles in 14 Cowboys games last season.

The Eagles front management must decide if Barr can help. Barr most recently played for Dallas in 2022, starting 10 of 14 games after eight seasons with Minnesota.
