Fans disagree with Diana Gabaldon's assessment of Season 7's success.

Season 7 of Outlander has taken viewers on an enthralling trip full of unexpected twists and turns.

While the series' creator, Diana Gabaldon, called the season "amazingly successful," the reaction from the public has been varied.

Some fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the show's transition away from the legendary duo Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitrona Balfe).

Despite Gabaldon's happiness, the diversion from the expected storyline has provoked disputes and allowed for criticism and introspection.

The midseason finale of Outlander season 7 heralded the beginning of another Droughtlander spell.

Although the show won't return until 2024, the episode was an action-packed and narratively rich start to the sabbatical.

The episode laid the stage for Jamie and Claire's future in Scotland as they avoid the American Revolutionary War.

“We know what they are fixing, but it would be nice to know what they want to accomplish this year instead of “wait and see” with everything asked by the community.”
