Indiana Jones 5 Will Lose At Least $100 Million At The Box Office

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has been a box office flop, and a new analysis indicates how much money the picture will lose.

The fifth and ostensibly final film in the Indiana Jones trilogy, directed by James Mangold,

sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as the legendary archeologist for one last adventure.

However, the picture received mixed reviews from reviewers and has struggled to establish traction at the box office since its debut at the end of June.

Following the disappointing box office performance of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,

Variety believes that the picture may finish up losing roughly $100 million throughout its theatrical run.

With a budget of roughly $300 million and marketing costs of at least $100 million, the sequel's box office gross of $375 million is a dismal performance.

The film's massive budget is one of the most significant factors working against Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
