Katie McGrath, an Irish actress, admits to filming her John Wick audition with her mother in a 'corner of a room' in Wicklow.

Katie McGrath said she taped her audition tape for The Continental: From The World Of John Wick with her mother in a “corner of a room in Ireland” before a long-haul travel.

The 39-year-old Co Wicklow native plays The Adjudicator in the three-part Prime Video series,

which will launch on September 22 as a precursor to Keanu Reeves' John Wick movie.

The Oscar-winning mini-series staring Mel Gibson investigates the “origin behind the hotel-for-assassins centrepiece of the John Wick universe”

via the eyes of a teenage Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), an enemy in John Wick: Chapter 3.

McGrath called the 1970s New York serial a “simple story of revenge, and pain,

and hurt” and praised Keanu Reeves for “making a character in a world that resonates with so many people”.

“I instantly knew who she was,” McGrath said of her role. I read it and said, ‘We can tape this, I’ve got it’.
