LeBron James Reveals His Favorite Basketball Arena In The World

In the last two decades, LeBron James has performed at many arenas worldwide, but Madison Square Garden is his favorite. James said MSG is his favorite basketball stadium after seeing some highlights.

Playing at The Garden is special for most players. The New York Knicks were bad for most of LeBron's NBA career, but MSG, the "Mecca of Basketball," is special to him.

LeBron, 38, has a 21-8 record at MSG and has dominated the Knicks. The Lakers defeated the Knicks 129-123 in overtime on January 31, 2023, for the latest triumph.

That win gave LeBron a triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, and 1 steal. At the Garden, he averages 28.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks throughout his career.

On February 4, 2009, LeBron scored 52 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 blocks to help the Cavaliers win 107-102.

Michael Jordan also loves MSG. Like LeBron, Jordan had several great performances at MSG, including his 1995 55-point performance. Jordan stated playing at MSG was exceptional because real basketball players were respected.

"I've always admired Madison Square Garden, even when we played St. John's or other games in college. A phony basketball player has always been visible to basketball fans.

Jordan's authenticity was soon apparent to MSG's crowd. He plagued the Knicks for years and is a significant reason they never won a title despite being a good team in the 1990s.
