Michael Irvin reaches an agreement with Marriott and will return to NFL Network in Week 1.

NFL Network returns The Playmaker for Week 1 of 2023.

Former Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin settled his $100 million slander case with Marriott in February.

he settlement allowed Irvin to return to NFL Network once its Super Bowl coverage began on Feb. 6.

Dallas Morning News reported the late development.

NFL Media vice president of communication Alex Riethmiller remarked, “Michael Irvin has been reinstated and will be a part of NFL Network’s coverage of the 2023 season.”

Irvin was indefinitely removed from the network after a Phoenix Marriott employee said he made sexually inappropriate remarks in a lobby.

Although Irvin conceded that he did not remember all about his discussion with the woman, other eyewitnesses supported his claim that nothing bad transpired.

Irvin was banned from NFL Network and ESPN Super Bowl coverage despite never being charged.

The footage from the video camera didn't show anything out of the ordinary.

Despite the fact that no criminal charges were ever brought against Irvin
