NEW PART NBA great and former champion who earned $141M leaves league to join new team in shocking move.

According to a report by a Spanish journalist named Marc Mundet, Ibaka, who is 33 years old, has reportedly signed a one-year contract with Bayern.

Isaac Bonga, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards, 

will be a teammate of the Spanish-Congolese big man on the teams that will compete in the EuroLeague and the Bundesliga.

During the offseason, Bayern signed former Boston Celtics playmaker Carsen Edwards

and Leandro Bolmaro, who is projected to be selected in the first round of the NBA draft in 2020.

The previous season, Bayern advanced to the semifinals of the Bundesliga before being eliminated by Ratiopharm Ulm in three games.

They ended their run in the EuroLeague with an 11-23 record and were eliminated from postseason contention as a result.

Ibaka is another major player who made the move this summer from the NBA to play basketball in Europe.

Kemba Walker, a four-time NBA All-Star, was revealed as having signed with the French champions AS Monaco in the month of July.

Kostas Antetokounmpo, brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo, has joined Panathinaikos.
