PSG hit back at Lionel Messi, explaining why he wasn't'recognized' as World Cup champion.

Lionel Messi opted to leave PSG after two difficult years and join Inter Miami in the MLS. 

However, the Argentina great did not forget how he was treated after winning the World Cup.

the French club's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, responded strongly to the Argentine's charges surrounding World Cup recognition.

In fact, in an interview with Le Parisien, he stated that Paris Saint-Germain met their duties when Messi returned from Qatar. 

"As everyone saw, we posted a video, honored him during a training session and also acknowledged it privately."
