Colorado's new coach should make coachspeak unfashionable because more coaches speaking their thoughts will make college football more enjoyable.

Because I don't know you, but I've never liked when people lie to me and call a rivalry game “another game to me.” Caleb Williams, yes.

I don't believe coaches when they claim ignorance about everything outside their Pinocchio noses.

Prior to the season, Oregon coach Dan Lanning stated during Pac-12 Media Day that team expectations are irrelevant outside of the locker room. Yes, sure.

Our athletes are well-versed in nothing burgers, vanilla coachspeak, and a Prix Fixe Menu with no bulletin board stuff.

I don't expect USC's well-groomed team to add much more sauce this week before their Saturday morning match with Colorado (2-1) in Boulder.

Coach Lincoln Riley cares so much about messaging that Luca Evans was benched for two days last week for making a harmless judgment about a player's demeanor.
