Tim McGraw has been a trailblazer in country music for almost 30 years, but he maintains his life
career would not be where they are today without the continuing support of his wife, fellow musician Faith Hill.
In a recent interview to promote his new album, "Standing Room Only," the three-time Grammy winner waxed poetic
about his nearly 27-year marriage to Hill, whom he called as "one of the greatest artists of all time."
"I guarantee you, if I hadn't gotten married to Faith at 29 years old, A, I would've probably run my career into the ground,
and B, I would've died already with my career in the ground — one or the other, and it wouldn't have ever been where it is now,"
McGraw married Hill in a small ceremony at his aunt's Rayville, Louisiana, home in October 1996.
Gracie, 26, Maggie, 25, and Audrey, 21, are the couple's offspring. However, as with other marriages, the couple has had its ups and downs.
McGraw told Esquire in 2021 that Hill was his inspiration for becoming sober in 2008.
