Tom Holland Was Scared by His Marvel Co-Star's $255M Oscar-Nominated Film.

Tom Holland and Naomi Watts, a highly regarded actress, costarred in the film The Impossible, which was Tom Holland's big break.

Acting beside Watts at age 16, he didn't seem out of place at all, and after playing Lucas, he proceeded to land opportunities.

Few were shocked by the early-career success he experienced, but many were taken aback by Marvel Studios' choice to cast him as Spider-Man.

He was never thought of as an actor who would work well in a heroic action character due to his height of 5 feet 8 inches and slim build.

However, after six films as Spider-Man, Holland has cemented the role as his own and is most likely to keep directing the MCU franchise as the web-head.

His remarks about Daniel Kaluuya's film, though, imply that he's not your average hero and might find himself wishing for his on-screen superhero to save him in one particular situation.

Tom Holland has established himself as a diverse performer over the years, and his most recent Apple TV+ miniseries, The Crowded Room, only served to confirm this.

The English actor portrays Danny Sullivan, a young guy detained for a horrible crime in Manhattan in 1979, brilliantly while co-starring with Amanda Seyfried.

The 27-year-old has yet to put his skills to the test in the horror genre, though.

Holland revealed his ambition to try his hand at the same in a 2021 interview with Variety. One problem, though: He's frightened of the genre.
